The number after trillion is quadrillion
Trillion → quadrillion → quintillion.
A trillion has 12 zeros. Multiplying it by 1,000 adds three zeros, giving one quadrillion with 15 zeros.

Remember the pattern
Million, billion, trillion and quadrillion are not one unit apart. Each is 1,000 times the number before it. That is why the zero count goes 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and continues increasing by three.
Short scale: these definitions use the modern English short scale. Historical long-scale usage assigns different values to some names, so check the number system when reading older material.
